A discreet, personalised consignment service for exceptional pieces.

Working with a select network of trusted private clients, we manage every detail with care — from the initial valuation through to the final sale — ensuring your pieces are thoughtfully presented, expertly handled and given the opportunity to be cherished once again.

How it works

Start by completing the contact form below. Let us know:

  • An approximate quantity of items you would like to sell
  • The general condition of the pieces (well-worn, brand new with tags, etc.)
  • The types of brands you have

We will review your enquiry and confirm whether we are able to sell on your behalf. If we are both happy to proceed, we send over our Terms of Business for you to sign.

Depending on the quantity of items and your location, we will arrange either a direct collection from you, or delivery of your items to our Brighton HQ. We will coordinate a date and time that is most convenient for you.

Once we receive your items, we assess each one for condition, seasonality, and current trends, then categorise them accordingly. All items are stored safely in our dedicated storage facility.

We decide which items to list and when, to ensure the best possible results. We photograph each piece in high quality, research its value, and create detailed listings across Our own website, Vestiaire Collective, Vinted and eBay.

We price items fairly, typically around 50 percent of the original RRP, depending on brand, condition and popularity.

Once sold, we carefully pack and ship the item to the buyer. The sale is then recorded on your personal sales spreadsheet.

We keep payments simple and fully transparent. Every month you receive your personal sales spreadsheet showing items sold, expenses, our commission, and your total earnings.

Choose to be paid monthly, or once you have reached a set earnings threshold (for example, £1,000). Whatever suits you best.

About Amado

Two people, one Brighton base, thousands of pieces sold worldwide.

We’re Zak and Jenny, the co-founders of Amado. What started as a simple favour to help a family member clear their wardrobe soon became something much bigger — a shared passion for exceptional fashion, thoughtful consignment and finding the right homes for beautiful pieces.

How we work

For the past four years, we’ve been building Amado from our hometown of Brighton, working with a select network of trusted private clients to bring exceptional pieces from their wardrobes to a wider audience.

We are established expert sellers on Vestiaire Collective, Vinted and eBay, and have sold thousands of pieces to customers around the world. Along the way, we’ve built a reputation for excellent customer service, attention to detail and a genuine knowledge of the pieces we sell.

We’re now bringing that experience to our own website, creating a more personal and considered way to buy and consign with us.

Every piece passes through our hands. We know exactly where it has come from, who it belonged to and what to look for when assessing its authenticity.

With thousands of pieces handled over the past four years, we have developed a thorough knowledge of designer fashion and a meticulous approach to authentication. Every item is carefully inspected before it is listed, and we only sell pieces we are completely confident are authentic.

Designer pieces we have sold through platforms including Vestiaire Collective have also been subject to their own authentication process, with every item passing without issue — so our customers can shop with complete confidence and peace of mind.
